This blog is about our garden in Ohio (zone 5). My husband and I like to dig in the dirt and see things grow. Trees, shrubs, perennials, veggies, annuals, and bulbs –we appreciate them all. We have a bit of a thing for harder-to-find plants, but as we are cheapskates, we aren’t above getting plants things from Lowes or Meijers, either. Heirloom varieties are a growing interest, especially in our vegetable garden. Enthusiastic amatuers, in our garden there are a lot of happy accidents, there isn’t always a lot of forethought, and consequently we do a fair amount of transplanting and re-transplanting! All pictures featured in this blog were taken by us and are of our garden unless otherwise specifically noted.
